‘Leprosy’ wins award at Kraut Fest in Germany

‘Leprosy’ has been awarded at the Kraut International Film Festival in Germany.

‘Leprosy’ by Alimohammad Eqhbaldar has been awarded at the Kraut International Film Festival in Germany.

Eqhbaldar’s short feature is about a couple who discovers something at their wedding night that makes them end at the hospital.

‘Leprosy’ has previously attended some international film festivals, including Nepal Human Right International Film Festival in Nepal, 2018 International Film Festival of Shimla in India, 2018 Pembroke Taparelli Arts and Film Festival in the USA and 2018 International Film Festival of Shimla in India.   

Eqhbaldar has also won a nod for best short film from the Peekskill Film Festival in the US.

The Kraut International Film Festival is a monthly awards competition that allows filmmakers from all over the world to enter their films to get it judged by industry professionals and compete with other filmmakers.

The award winners will compete for the “Film of the Month” award in June. There will be a screening once a month where the best film of the year will be chosen.
